I am a 53 year old male with two children and a great wife. My wife is a contractor with no security and has recently been laid off for the 2nd time within 6 months, and I have given up looking for a job that pays anything over $15 an hour.

My wife’s employment insurance benefits are barely enough money to sustain us temporarily.We got rid of our car temporarily so I can put money to learning and building my business. I am starting to win with this after much hard work.

I have been paying for and taking courses to do with online marketing and business building for 18 or so months since my layoff.  My Employment Insurance benefits ran out so I get no help from the government and certainly could use some temporarily but since I was born here and have worked for 25+ years I don’t get help.I should have been a refugee. ( read my article about that on this post). When I had a good job in the ’90s I saw the writing on the wall and started to better myself through network marketing, but offline.

I am a strong common sense  conservative  type and believe in pulling ourselves up by the bootstraps by providing value and service to others by giving them a hand up and not a hand out. We teach people to fish, we don’t just give them the fish like the government does.

I realize we, as business thinkers and builders, come from a different starting premise in our philosophies on almost everything and the socialist will say, as the editor does, that we need more taxes for city services.

There are now more six-figure earners in the city  of Toronto trough than ever before. Now there is talk from Mayor David Miller that he is going to punish people who don’t recycle: more government workers who won’t make less than $25 hourly or so; the same as the idling police and the city workers who are way overpaid.

 Now this month of April 09 we have more union jobs coming to the Miller trough. They are creating many new jobs for paint pick up and electronics pick up because this is simply another tax grab hidden inside the “greening” agenda that the global warming wackos are gaga over.

 Lastly since this is my blog I’m going to put back in my bit about generational welfare that the news paper took out because it is not PC. Srew PCness.

Where we live is quickly going down hill because of a government agenda to bring in 75% welfare receipients.This is happening in front of us; mostly generational also.

Of course our place is going down hill quickley and the honest folks who actually work to make a living are leaving as we plan to do.

The bottom line is no we don’t need to raise taxes; we need to clean house in the government and cut off generational welfare.

 Hepl me fight this. It will be a tough long fight but this is one of my blog’s purposes.
