Evaluating an opportunity seems like brain surgery to some but it’s simple.
What’s the best comp plan?
That has 2 features.
1.It works “with” the numbers.
2.Average people (part timers) can build and prosper.The vast majority in your group will be average.

Most network marketers are doomed from the get-go because the compensation plan they are working with does not work with the numbers.
Doesn’t matter if you like the numbers because like gravity they simply are.The numbers are reality.Either work with them,or see ya later.
If you ask virtually any successful network marketer they’ll tell you most of their success comes from 2-3 distributors.

This is not made up.I have learned to work with it.
MLM industry statistics tell you that “average distributors” sponsor 2.7 people into their home based business career.
That’s not made up I’ve learned to work with it.
I remember another statistic from my old Amway business in the 90’s that fits exactly with that statistic .95% of folks quit their home based networking businesses after 3 no’s.

If the “magic” number that most people sponsor is 3, than any plan wider than 3 will not work in your business.
Yes there are “super recruiters”.I know I know.You can sponsor 3 people daily.Maybe 3 a minute.

Best of Both worlds
So the question becomes:Do you want a compensation plan that works for the 97% of the people or a pay plan that works for the 3%?
I am analytical when it comes to comp plans.I LOVE a company that let’s me personally sponsor someone, then place them ANYWHERE in my group to maximize THEIRdollar pay-out. You build trust this way.

So the advice here is, avoid any comp plan that:
1. Limits your strategy to place personally sponsored people where you want.
2. Forces you to do wide.
3. Doesn’t reward you for building depth.
4. Won’t work for part timers.

Remember numbers are like gravity. Work with them ,not against them.
Choose a compensation plan that works with the numbers and the masses.

Never dedicate your life to an inanimate object. In this industry if your product is not remarkable, you are invisible. You need a product people will buy even with no comp plan.
Many folks are searching for a product that truly inspires them.
And that is exactly the wrong way to go about it.
I recommend to to find a mob of people raving about a product…then…
FALL IN LOVE WITH THAT PRODUCT.

Get passionate about it! Be an advocate for it.Find a product with a HUGE MARKETand fall in love with it.
Some people love to work for companies with a product that fits their self-image…but they can’t make a dime on it.
Do yourself a favour. Focus on people. Focus on the market. Choose a product that everyone else wants.
And then ,as you build your people, let them know the wisdom of doing the same thing.
Every time a company or downline explode and go away . it does so because of the same 2 reasons: GREED AND EGO.
True leaders are the Mentors with the servant’s heart. It’s never about the money. No money Focus=No Greed.Build people and people will build their business.
People are people. They are not a number. They have goals,dreams and desires. Network Marketing is not a sales business. Network Marketing is a teaching and mentoring business.

Lastly you need a proven,duplicatable success system.
Everyone you sponsor and everyone they sponsor needs a step by step system to get off to a fast start: online, offline,one on one,cold market,warm market, retailing, recruiting, becoming a mentor to their personally sponsored people. They don’t need to do it all, but they need all those techniques available to them.

It’s a pretty safe bet you are never ever in this business going to find a company that provides you a realistic, usable, affordable system to do all the things that you and your people will need to do.

But every company has individual groups of entrepreneurial reps who have put together such a system. THESE are the people you want to find and work with.
Don’t join a group unless they have such a system in place.

Without the ingenuity of America’s brightest minds and the investment of U.S. taxpayer dollars, there would be no Internet, as we now know it today.

Now, the Obama administration has moved quietly to cede control of the Web from the United States to foreign powers.

Some background: The Internet came into being because of the genius work of Americans Dr.Robert E. Kahn and Dr. Vinton G. Cerf. These men, while working for the Department of Defense in the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency in the early 1970s, conceived, designed, and implemented the idea of “open-architecture networking.”

This breakthrough in connectivity and networking was the birth of the Internet.

These two gentlemen had the vision and the brainpower to create a worldwide computer Internet communications network that forever changed the world and how we communicate in it.

They discovered that providing a person with a unique identifier (TCP/IP)that was able to be recognized and interact through a network of servers would allow users to communicate with others.

The servers woulduse a series of giant receivers to recognize the identifier and connect networks to networks, passing on information from computer to computer in a seamless real-time exchange of information. This new process of communication became know as the “information super highway,” aka, the Internet.

Now for the bad news: In an effort to show the world how inclusive, sharing, cooperative, and international America can be, the Obama administration set off on a plan to surrender control and key management of the Internet by the U.S. Department of Commerce and its agents.

The key to the control America has over the Internet is through the management of the Domain Name System (DNS) and the giant servers that service the Internet.

Domain names are managed through an entity named IANA, the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority. The IANA, which operates on behalf of the U.S. Department of Commerce, is responsible for the global coordination of the DNS, IP addressing, and other Internet protocol resources.

In short, without an IP Address or other essential Internet protocols, a person or entity would not have access to the Internet.

For years, the international community has been pressuring the United States
to surrender its control and management of the Internet. They want an international body such as the United Nations or even the International Telecommunications Union, (an entity that coordinates international telephone communications), to manage all aspects of the Internet in behalf of all nations.

The argument advanced for those seeking international control of the Internet is that the Internet has become such a powerful, pervasive, and a dependent form of international communications, that it would be dangerous and inequitable for any one nation to control and manage it.

Just this past spring, within months of Obama’s taking office, his administration, through the Department of Commerce, agreed to relinquish some control over IANA and their governance. The Obama administration has agreed to give greater representation to foreign companies and countries on IANA.

This amounts to one small step for internationalism and one giant leap for surrendering America’s control over an invention we have every right and responsibility to control and manage.

It is in America’s economic and national security interests not to relinquish any control. We are responsible for the control, operation, and functionality of one of the modern world’s greatest inventions and most powerful communications network.

What better country to protect the Internet than the United States?

We invented it, and we paid for the research and implementation that made it
possible. We are the freest, most tolerant nation on earth, we believe in the
fundamental right of free speech, and we practice a free market of commerce and ideas.

America has always been against censorship and has shared its invention with the world without fee or unreasonable or arbitrary restriction. The user fee to operate on the Internet is not one paid to the U.S. government; a consumer pays it to private Internet companies, who provide access to the Internet through servers for their subscribers.

Look no further than China’s recent move against Google to censor the
Internet, and you can envision what can happen when other nations less free
than the United States seek to control the Internet beyond even their own borders.

America needs to wake up. If we lose control over the management of the
Internet, we have given away one of our nation’s greatest assets with nothing
in return to show for it.

The Obama administration’s actions will set in motion a slow and complete takeover of the Internet by the United Nations or some other equally U.S.-hostile and unfriendly international body. And once it is gone, it will be gone forever.

The surrender of the Internet will spell disaster for our nation, financially, as well as for safety, security and our standing as a great power that values freedom and the free exchange of ideas and information.

As far as I am concerned, America is still the last best hope for a more
peaceful and prosperous world and our president should not be looking for
ways to weaken us. Rather, his job is to work to strengthen us and protect our nation’s greatest asset our people’s creativity and ingenuity.

On April 22, 2006 four Canadian soldiers were killed in Afghanistan
by a roadside bomb. Respects and heartfelt sadness go to the families
of those heroes who stand alongside the U.S in the Long War half a
world away. While we focus on the war in Iraq, the fighting continues
in Afghanistan where side-by-side the U.S., one of its most loyal
allies, Canada, engage the re-emergence of the Taliban.

Canada is like a close uncle who constantly argues, badgers, and
complains about what you are doing, but when help is truly needed,
you can’t keep him away: he’s right there alongside you. We have a
unique relationship with Canada. We have different political positions
on many issues, but our unique friendship has weathered world wars,
global crises, and the ever-so-often neighbourhood disagreement.

Canada has been with us since the beginning of the Global War on
Terrorism. In February 2006, without fanfare Canada, leading a
multinational force combating growing Taliban insurgency, increased
troop strength in Afghanistan to 2,300. With the American military
stretched thin against rising instability in both Iraq and Afghanistan,
an ally that increases its troop strength is inspiring and deserves our
respect.

Katrina was another example of our close family-like relationship.
Katrina struck the Gulf Coast on August 29, 2005. Two days later,
the Vancouver Urban Search and Rescue Team rushed from British
Columbia, Canada to Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana. In this Parish
of 68,000 Americans, the first responders were Canadians. Overall,
within the devastated Gulf Coast area, it appears Canada was the
first responder outside of local efforts. They worked 18-hour days,
going door-to-door alongside Louisiana State Troopers, rescuing 119
Americans. While FEMA ramped up to surge into the catastrophe;
while the administration and Louisiana fought for the politically
correct way to respond; Canadian aid was already at work.

The Canadian Forces Joint Task Group 306 consisting of the warships
HMCS Athabaskan, HMCS Toronto, NSMC Ville de Quebec, and CCGC
William Alexander sailed to the Gulf Coast to deliver humanitarian
supplies. They stayed, working alongside U.S. Navy and Mexican
warships, to provide aid to Katrina victims.

Katrina was not an anomaly of our close relationship. When Hurricane
Ivan devastated Pensacola, Florida in October 2004 Canadian
humanitarian help was there also. Canadian power trucks roamed the
streets and countryside helping restore electricity where Americans had
a unique experience of running into workmen who only spoke French.
Canada took a lot of undeserved flak for failing to leap into Operation
Iraqi Freedom when our administration sent us galloping across the
desert. But Canada remains one of our staunchest allies in the war.

When United States military forces were fighting up the highways in
Operation Iraqi Freedom, Canada quietly increased troop numbers in
Afghanistan and continued Naval operations with U.S. Warships in the
Persian Gulf.

I was at the Pentagon on 9/11, stationed on the Joint Staff. During the
early hours after the attack, the United States closed its air space and
ordered every aircraft within our borders to land immediately at the
nearest airfield. Canada immediately stood up an Operations Support
Post. With civil aviation grounded, aircraft destined for the United
States were forced elsewhere. Most landed in Canada.

Re-routed travellers and flight crews were hosted at Canadian Forces
facilities in Goose Bay, Gander, and Stephensville, Newfoundland;
Halifax, Shearwater, and Aldershot, Nova Scotia; Winnipeg, Manitoba;
and Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.

Canada rapidly mobilized its forces. Within hours, the Canadian Navy
was on alert with ships preparing to cast off immediately for any U.S.
Port to help victims of the 9/11 attacks. Canada’s Disaster Assistance
Response Team prepared to deploy from Trenton, Ontario.

Canada dispersed CF-18 fighter aircraft to strategic locations throughout Canada. No politics. No negotiating. No questions. They were just
there. Canada would have fought any adversary that approached the
United States that day.

Canada has been such an integral partner with the United States in the
Global War on Terrorism that on December 7, 2004 when President Bush awarded the Presidential Unit Citation to Commander Joint Force South
for combat success in Afghanistan, he was also recognizing the secretive Canadian Joint Task Force 2 commando counter-terrorism unit.

The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded 30 Bronze Star medals for
heroism in combat to Canadian Forces personnel. Some of those 30 died
in action. Many of the others were wounded. These Canadians earned
this American medal for heroism fighting alongside Americans. When we
recall our own dead heroes, we must remember that these warriors gave
their lives not only for Canada, but also for the United States.

Canada is more than a neighbor. It is a close family member with the
gumption to disagree with its brother to the south but always be there
when disaster strikes and America needs help. For that, I salute you,
Canada, and extend my respect for the sacrifices given by members of
the Canadian Forces. What an awesome Country you are Canada!
